Sewing Days
Wednesdays and Fridays (and some Sunday afternoons)

Approximately 9.30am-3pm ….and anytime in between.
We come and go as it suits each of us 😊

Sewing Days: 2nd & 4th Wednesday
Venue: Old Primary School Hopetoun
Workshops
If we’d like to learn a type of embroidery, we simply ask.
We organise exciting workshops with in-house and visiting tutors who inspire us.
Summer School is popular! These can run for weeks to cater for all our members. Unusual themes include gourds, insects, steampunk, hyperbolic crochet, buttons and canvaswork.
Beginners
We’re proud of our program ‘Yes, you are creative’ which provides beginners and those with some experience how to do 6 -12 basic stitches on individualised templates. These are readily available all year with impromptu tutoring. Digital stitchbanks are forwarded for ready references to graphic and video guides.
Publications and Media
We publish many hard-cover photo books showcasing every member’s work and every Summer School, and we’re always keen to share them.

Victorian Branches
In 2021, our Mildura Branch initiated communications with the eleven other branches via monthly zoom meetings, exhibition visits, retreats and biennial publications of three photographic books titled ‘Together ‘and featuring all branches.
