Welcome to our Leongatha Branch
Leongatha Branch is a friendly group of stitchers and visitors are always welcome.
Members' skills range from beginner to advanced, in a variety of techniques both traditional and contemporary.
We hold meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Uniting Church Hall, 16 Peart Street, Leongatha from 9am-2:30pm. Morning Tea provided. BYO Lunch.
Guidance Groups (Sit and Sews) are held at:
- 2nd Tuesday 9am - 2:30pm - Leongatha Uniting Church, 16 Peart St, Leongatha VIC 3953
- 3rd Thursday 9:30am - 2pm - Cape Paterson Community Hall, 637 Cape Paterson Road, Cape Paterson VIC 3995
- 4th Tuesday 10am - 2:30pm - Leongatha RSL Meeting Room, corner Smith Street and Michael Place, Leongatha VIC 3953
In-house classes, taught by Branch members, are held regularly, as well as classes with visiting Tutors.
Members' work is on display at Branch Exhibitions and Community Events such as Leongatha's annual Daffodil Festival.
Our most recent exhibition "Nature in all its Glory" was held in January 2025.
