	Yvette Stanton awarded OAM for service to embroidery - 15th June 2026 The embroidery community celebrates Yvette Stanton, who has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours for her service to embroidery. This national honour acknowledges her significant contribution to the preservation, teaching and promotion of embroidery, particularly historical whitework techniques.
