When you think about feminism, what do you think?

In 1975, the George Paton Gallery sent out a call for responses to the question, When you think about art what do you think? In celebration of first directors of the gallery, Kiffy Rubbo and Meredith Roger's 'ideas shows' and the GPG's long association with the Women's Art Movement, George Paton Gallery: Feminisms 1975-2022 looks at the history of feminist engagement in the programs of the George Paton Gallery from the 1970s to today. During this period of almost five decades, evolutions, revaluations, conflictions, and criticisms have marked the trajectory of feminist art.
So, we are asking you:When you think about feminism, what do you think?
Perhaps a visit to the exhibition will help you answer this question. 16 - 27 May 2022
