Festival of Goldwork

Opening in July, the Embroiderers Guild NSW presents a Festival of Goldwork comprising 'taster' classes, workshops, site visits, a one day conference and an exhibition of both historic and contemporary goldwork.
One-day conference: July 23 - Australian Catholic University, 25a Barker Street Strathfield NSW from 9:30am-4pm.
The conference on July 23 includes presentations by Alison Snepp 'Opus Anglicanum', Mary Brown on 'Cultural Diffusion in the History of Goldwork Embroidery', Dr Jessica Grim examines 'Late Medieval Stumpwork in the German Speaking World'.
