DB8 - NEEDLE LACE RETICELLA STYLE - FLOWERING GUM 

Reticella is an Italian Embroidered Needle Lace technique, with origins going back to the cut work technique and style of the 15^th Century. Threads are withdrawn from linen fabric leaving spaces to form a grid. The remaining threads, both horizontal and vertical are needle woven to bind them in place. The spaces left are filled with motifs creating different patterns and designs. The motifs are made from a combination of closed blanket stitch (often referred to as buttonhole stitch for which it is not), and wrapped bars embellished with picots where the design requires. Some experience if counted thread embroidery is required.

• A full refund will apply if the refund request is made prior to the class registration closing date.
• Once the class registration has closed and/or Tutor advised the class is proceeding - a refund will only be given for exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Education Committee.
• No refunds will be given once the class has commenced.
