TC 63 - Little Gold Gum - A Goldwork project with a modern twist ![]()
The Little Gold Gum is a wonderful project for those who want to start learning the art of Goldwork embroidery, but with a modern twist.
This contemporary design is a beautiful little Gum tree branch featuring a gorgeous gold leaf with soft gold leather to one side
and shaded cording to the other, a lovely red flower stitched in silk with gold beads and padded leather, as well as a little bud embellished with chipping and double gold cording.
The design is printed on a lovely soft green Batik fabric and sprinkled with sparkling sequins.
You will be learning all basic goldwork techniques such as chipping, laying cord, beading, padding, leather work and wire work.
Using lovely silk threads, beautiful gold wires, cords and threads, you will create this lovely little Gum spray measuring 10 x 6cm.
The kit will include all the fabric, silk and other threads, felt, leather, beads, needles and all goldwork supplies needed to complete this project.
