MT55 - Construction of Elizabethan Boxes
This class will take you through the complexities of constructing a box. (The embroidery has previously been taught, OR you can include your own work as covering fabric - there is no embroidery taught in this class.)
Boards are laser cut out of Museum quality rag board by the tutor's framer as they need to be very accurate and each box has thirteen pieces. 
For those members who have been working on finishing their casket and want to add these boxes to their casket, these boxes have been cut to fit into the drawers of the casket. 

These boxes can fit within the Casket previously taught by the tutor, or can be freestanding.                            
Bring along your own special embroidered fabric or that of previously taught Elizabethan classes.

Class Fees - 

EGV Member - $189.00

Non-member - $252.00

Kit Fee -  ​​​​​

Full set of boxes which is 4 small boxes (12.5cm x 6cm),
1 medium box (13cm x 10cm) & 1 large box (12.5cm x 12.5cm) will cost $100.00.  

To buy boxes separately-  small box is $19.00, medium box is $19.00 & large box is $21.00

Note: Box(es) must be purchased at the time of registration.

NOTE:  This class is scheduled to be held in the Ground floor Gallery of Embroidery House

Please Note:

• A full refund will apply if the refund request is made prior to the class registration closing date.
• Once the class registration has closed - a refund will only be given for exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Education Committee.
• No refunds will be given once the class has commenced.
