Eagle/Bluebird Advanced Projects (New project released in upcoming book only) ![]()
These delightful designs are part of a larger number of crewel embroideries in the tutor's personal collection having been worked by a farmer's wife in the 1940's during targeted German bombing raids.
Stitches include Crewel stem, Satin, French Knots, Coral, Pistil and Long & Short stitches as well as Laid & Couched work.
Focus will be on Long & Short stitching, soft shading and developing and
correcting stitch techniques to help with a pleasing and subtle result.
Date: 10th, 11th & 12th February 2026
Time: 9.30am - 4.00pm (NOTE: early start time)

Skill Level: Advanced level (3 days)

It is recommended that payment be made by credit/debit card providing immediate registration into the class.
Payment can be made by bank transfer of funds but may take several days to confirm payment into the EGV account. You will, however, NOT be registered into the class until the class is opened, and registrations will be completed in the order in which they have been received. This, may result in you missing out (as it takes time to register each individual) as others may register in this time and the class may become fully subscribed. (See Alternate Payment link below)

You may purchase other items from the website during the process. All may incur Customs duty payable (in cash) on Day 1 of Class.
This payment will release your kit (and other purchases) for the class. Please note your kit will not be forwarded to your home address, but to a central EGV address and will be supplied on the first day of class.

- A 10% charge will apply if the refund request is made prior to the class registration closing date.
- A 20% charge will apply if the refund request is made after the class registration has closed.
- No refunds will be given once the class has commenced.
