Couture art embroidery is the creation with mixed media materials & embroidery. Create sumptuous scrolls made in Chenille, a soft, feathery yarn first developed in 18th-century France. In this project you will learn how to handle this velvety sumptuous fibre and combine it with other materials such as Silk floss embroidery, metal plate laid work, create organza fluted flower shapes, ribbon roses, sequin flowers to give a rich and opulent result A vintage looking piece of Art embroidery, perfect to use as a home interior accessory.

Learn the art of Haute Couture embroidery taught by an international professional.  
During the class you will learn the basics......how to prepare your fabric on the frame, laid plate work, chenille embroidery. add beads, sequins and crystals using a variety of stitches.
All embroidery is hand done with a needle.

• A 10% charge will apply if the refund request is made prior to the class registration closing date.
• A 20% charge will apply if the refund request is made after the class registration has closed.
• No refunds will be given once the class has commenced.
