JP27JULY25 DORSET BUTTONS 

Dorset buttons are thread-covered buttons dating back to the 1620’s, created with embroidery stitches.

You will learn how to cover a button ring, how to lay the spokes and then how to fill in the button.

We will use a single colour thread in this class and basic stitches to start, but you will be provided with notes to help you get creative with further practice.
