CLASS - RJ20 INTERMEDIATE BEADING view only
RJ20 INTERMEDIATE BEADING - THIS IS A VIEW ONLY PAGE - This course is open to EGV Members & other reciprocal Interstate Guild Members.
Beading, covers such an enormous range of techniques that it would be impossible to do them all justice in just 6 lessons. This course is focused on applying beads and sequins to fabric with and around embroidery. Diversions into simple bead weaving and other techniques will be brief.
The aim of the course is to introduce new and old bead embroidery techniques which will enable and inspire you to ‘add the bling’ to your work to suit your own style, whether that be outrageous or subtle.
Most samplers will be worked with seed beads, bugle beads and sequins. All easy to obtain and reasonably priced. Course will include stitching with all sorts of beads and sequins, incorporating beads into embroidery stitches, making bead edges, fringes and netting, free-form bead embroidery and finally creative embroidery with beads.
