An enjoyable introductory class making Japanese Temari- a traditional Japanese embroidered decorative ball.
The Temari ball has a long history in Japan from humble beginnings to become the popular hand-stitching craft that continues today.
Join Leanne O’Sullivan from Kimono House Japanese Textiles and Craft for an enjoyable day and learn how to decoratively stitch the surface of a prepared ball with a simple pattern suitable for the beginner.
These colourful aromatic balls will delight those who love to stitch by hand & make a perfect gift for all ages.
