CB6 USING SOLUBLES WITH FME - THE BASICS

Soluble fabrics are stabilisers that can be washed away after being stitched on.

This introductory course is to help you learn about the variety of types available and the ways you can use them.

• We will look at and play with a variety of ideas.
• Ways they can be constructed,
• How to choose the most suitable solubles for each purpose,
• The best ways to stitch them with your machine,
• Sewing hints.
• Dissolving methods.
• How to construct some decorative fabrics.
• Make some lace  for a bookmark
• Choose some ideas to develop a small project to complete on day two.

Date:   8 and 9  January 2025

Time:  10 am to 3 pm 30 minute lunch break.

Tutor:  Chris Beehag

Skill Level:  Participants should have experience and be comfortable using their machines for basic free motion stitching
