Behind the scenes at The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria
The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria will be throwing open its doors at Embroidery House for two very special open days on 18 & 19 April as part of the National Trust Australian Heritage Festival.
Not normally on display to the public, we shall be opening our drawers and cupboards to show off our significant and sensational collections of textiles, lace, embroidered tools, vintage sewing books and more throughout our lovely building.
Lots of friendly members will be on hand to answer your questions. In the Gallery, there will be an exhibition of "members’ treasures" for viewing, and the verandah will be stocked with handmade gifts for sale. For those wishing to try a stitch or two, a communal table loaded with supplies so that you can have a go.
