SS4 - Vibrant Bugs Workshop - 

CLASS FULL - ADD NAME TO WAITLIST

In this workshop you will take inspiration from the amazing shapes and gorgeous colours of the insect world to create beautiful 3D textile bugs. A combination of machine and hand embroidery techniques will be used along with a variety of fabrics and embellishments to create your own gorgeous bugs. Templates will be provided for butterflies, moths, beetles and a dragonfly. Familiarity with basic free machine embroidery is desirable and an introduction to free machine embroidery will be covered for those new to the technique.

Time: 10.00 am - 3.00 pm

Tutor: Sue Senewiratne

Skill Level: All levels. This workshop requires a competent understanding of your sewing machine.

Class Fees - 

EGV Member - $135.00 

Non-member - $180.00

Kit Fee - $15.00 (Includes silk organza x 2 for base, buggy fabrics, threads, wire antennae, beads and sequins).
