SF24 - 'The Elephant in the Room' 

This class is all about having fun, experimenting with stitches and letting your imagination run free while “colouring in” the elephant in your choice of colours. The emphasis will be on playing with different stitches and textures, rather than just relying on the ‘same old’ everyday basic stitches.

Suitable for anyone who can thread a needle, enjoys being a bit creative and putting their own unique stamp on a project. (And anyone who just wants to replicate the tutors’ sample as it is!)

Kit includes notes and diagrams, a pack of 6 hanks of hand-dyed no 5 perle threads in graduated shades, with a wide range of colour schemes to choose from, fabric, pattern for tracing, and black thread for outlining.

The finished project could be made up as a cushion, inserted into a tote bag, or simply framed, and for those who aren’t into elephants there are two other designs to choose from.
