Join Jo Peterson for a fun class in learning how to make Dorset Buttons.
Dorset Buttons originated in Shaftsbury, England in the 1620’s, traditionally using thin slices of ram’s horn which were then meticulously embroidered with local yarns & fabric. Bring your threads (DMC Perle – not stranded) and usual sewing kit. Button base and basic pattern will be provided.
