Maree is teaching TWO versions of this project on the same day. (Larger Project and Smaller Project)

The inspiration for this workshop has come from Maree's love of embroidered animals and plants of the Elizabethan period.  The embroidery is stitched in gumnut yarn silk threads on 55 count Kingston linen.

The panel features a lion stitched in needlelace surrounded by flowers, plants, insects and small creatures.  This workshop is aimed at teaching students the complexities of stitching animals and learning to shape so they look three dimensional and life like.

Dates: 3/2/22- 5/2/22 - 3 days

Time: 9.00am for  9.30am start - 4.00pm

Tutor: Maree Talbot

Skill Level: Students should have experience with detached buttonhole and working with single thread.

Class Fees:

Non-EGV Member: $300.00

Kit Fee:   LARGER project 
Option 1  $65.00  Students who already have most of the threads
Option 2  $96.00  Students who need ALL the threads

Kit Fee:   SMALL project
Option 1  -  $40  Students who already have most of the threads
Option 2 -   $60  Students who need ALL the threads

It is mandatory that a kit be purchased at the time of registration.
