Intermediate Courses are intended to take the student beyond the beginner stage, to a point where they are able to design a piece of work, make choices in the stitches they use, and have some knowledge of finishing options.

This Intermediate Crewel Embroidery will advance students beyond a basic level. 

As this course progresses emphasis will be aimed at providing a good working knowledge of stitches plus confidence with colour and basic design technique to enable participants to complete 1 minor project designed by the tutor and 1 major project designed by the student.

An Intermediate Course comprises six teaching sessions of 4 hours each

03 Oct, 17 Oct, 07 Nov, 05 Dec 2021 & 9 Jan 2022 & 6 Feb 2022

Backup days: 20 Feb 2022 & 6 March 2022


Assessment Day -  TBA

JM Interm1Time:       10.30am – 2.30pm  


Tutor:   Jene Martin

Skill Level:   Beginner to Advanced Beginner
(preferably the student has completed the Beginners Crewel Embroidery class or shows similar knowledge and skill)

Class Fees:    $290.00 EGV Members
Intermediate courses are not available to Non-EGV Members.

Kit Fee:  $10.00  (Mandatory - payable at enrolment)
(includes all notes, coloured designs and diagrams, various fabric for class subject and processes)

This class is scheduled to be held in the Upstairs Classroom for the duration of the course.

Registrations open 10.00am -  15 June 2021 and will close on  4.00pm - 30 July 2021
