Dragonflies in the Garden
This design was created to experiment with working Canvaswork embroidery through a dual layer of fabric.
24-count Congress canvas is the base with hand dyed silk mesh laid over the top - the effect is beautiful with the gauze disguising the rigid grid appearance of the canvas. The completed square measures approximately 13cm x 13cm (turned on point as shown in the photo, the distance from top to bottom is approximately 19cm).

Full kit - a set of full colour instructions, Congress cloth (25cm x 25cm) mounted in calico,
hand-dyed silk mesh (your choice from a range of colours), fusible webbing,
5 skeins of hand-dyed 6-strand silk floss to match your silk mesh.
Please indicate at time of enrolment/kit payment your choice of colour of the hand-dyed silk mesh.
