Bendigo Branch

Welcome to our Bendigo Branch

Bendigo009-150x150

Welcome to the Bendigo Branch of The Embroiderers Guild Victoria. We are a large group of likeminded ladies who meet to share our interests and passions in all forms of embroidery. We have a display of members’ work and boutique items each month, as well as upcoming class examples to inspire everyone.

We produce a monthly newsletter ‘Golden Stitches’ listing our events and programs to keep all members informed.

We are all happy to share our skills and knowledge with each other and visitors alike,
so why not come and join us?

Our group was formed out of the 1972 Pen and Needle Group of The Embroiderers Guild Victoria, when our inaugural President, Dorothy Addlem (a Guild Member for over 50 years) met with Phyllis Toy, Mary Cail, Helen Burgess and Marj Orde to form a Guidance Group at the home of Phyllis Toy. By 1982 this group had outgrown the home meetings and moved to an external venue, where it continued to grow. On May 5, 1991 we became a Branch of the Guild and have prospered for more than 30 years.

We meet at:
