The Ballarat branch welcomes all Guild members and visitors to our groups every month from February to November.

1st Saturday of the month 10.30 am – 3.00 pm
2nd Tuesday (Smocking & Beading) 10.30 am – 3.00 pm
2nd Tuesday (Lace) 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm
2nd Thursday (Everybody Counts) 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm
3rd Tuesday (Sit & Sew) 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm
3rd Thursday (Sit & Sew) 10.30 am – 3.00 pm
4th Tuesday (Patchwork) day 10.30 am – 3.00 pm, and evening 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm
4th Wednesday (Creative Group) 10.30 am – 3.00 pm
5th Saturday (Patchwork) 10.30 am - 6 pm. Times may change during the winter.

Members share ideas, help others, work on their own embroidery, or participate in a project. There is a small attendance fee for meetings.

Workshops and classes are held in addition throughout the year.

An extensive library is available for members who may borrow any item of interest. It's a great resource for learning new techniques.

The branch publishes its own emailed newsletter in the first week of each month. Threadlines, the monthly newsletter of The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria, is also emailed to members.

All members are entitled to participate in any activities organised by Melbourne or by other branches.

The Ballarat branch showcases their members' work at a biennial exhibition and, in the alternate year, runs the Autumn Leaves Seminar with renowned tutors teaching various workshops.

The branch actively supports other community events with demonstrations and displays.
