About Us

The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation, focusing on teaching, sharing, encouraging and promoting the art of traditional and modern embroidery.

LesleyUrenEMBROIDERY HOUSEour Head Office in Melbourne - is a vibrant hub for all our members. Visitors are always welcome, including groups.

BRANCHES - for those living further afield, there are 12 regional EGV branches across Victoria.

LEARN - Our program of classes and workshops for members and non-members feature both local, interstate and international tutors.

EXHIBITIONS & EVENTS - at Embroidery House and across the state.

COLLECTION - a museum-level curated collection of embroidery, lace and needlework tools.

SPECIALIST LIBRARY - available to the public but only members may borrow.
