Applications are currently being taken for our May classes and will close on March 15. We have had many requests for another Temari class. Pam Spurway, creator of ‘Cottage Garden Threads’ will be our guest speaker at the General Meeting on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She will talk about her journey as a Patchworker to her interest in Dyeing and finally to the creation of “Cottage Garden Threads’. Pam will have threads for sale at the meeting.

A Touch of Nostalgia

Geelong Branch hosts a retrospective exhibition of works by well-known embroiderer Thelma Crawford (1940-1970). Thelma was particularly known for her delicate designs of Australian flowers. Dates: September 9 and 10. Entry fee: $5.00. Times: 10.00am – 4.00pm. Venue: St David’s Uniting Church Hall, corner Aphrasia and Talbot Sts, Newtown. Refreshments – raffle – trading table.
