Challenge: Take a shell
The challenge for our 2017 annual exhibition is: TAKE A SHELL.
Interpret this phrase as broadly as you like.
- Any embroidery technique.
- Any materials (feel free to include actual shells, but it’s not obligatory).
- It can be a two dimensional or three-dimensional piece.
The only restriction is size: Your piece must be no larger than 15cm x 15cm (2D) or 15cm x 15cm x 15cm (3D, including the display mechanism if integral to your design).
Textile artist Louise Saxton will judge the Challenge entries.
