Machine Embroidery – Finishing Techniques

We are looking forward to a busy month at the Guild in October with the Annual Exhibition. There are some classes/courses starting later in September – if you are interested in participating call Jenny or Glenda in the office to see if there are still some vacancies available. Japanese Embroidery with Michelle Hodder: Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 September, Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 October. 10.00am – 3.00pm

Intermediate Stumpwork with Alison Cole: Saturdays September 23, 30, October 21, 28, November 18, and December 2. 10.30am – 2.30pm

GOLD WORK MASTER CLASS: TUTOR – ALISON COLE, commences Sunday October 22; continues Sundays November 26, 2018: February 25, March 11, April 22, May 27, June 24, August 26, September 23, October 28, and November 25.

Machine Embroidery – Finishing Techniques

Skill level: Some machine embroidery experience

In this class Freya will teach you a variety of great techniques to use to finish off your machine embroidery projects. Techniques will include: free machine edging, making cords, machine tassels, binding work and turning out techniques. Great techniques that everyone should have in their repertoire! Practice the techniques on samples and/or bring along any items to finish off.
