Ararat Branch Exhibition: Splashes of Gold
The Ararat Biennial Branch exhibition, SPLASHES OF GOLD, held in October, was a great success.
We were very pleased with the variety and quality of work that our members produced.
Special thanks go to Deb Cooper (local textile artist) for her inspirational talk on “Needles”, prior to officially opening our Exhibition. The branch challenge produced a variety of ideas and techniques, taking some members out of their comfort zone to be creative. The popular vote winner was the Gold beaded bell made by Lorraine Butler.
Here are some samples of the beautiful work displayed, some of which will be featured in the February issue of Threadlines.
