  Members of the North Eastern Branch, Embroiderers Guild Victoria
created these banners for the exhibition.

Ella Egan designed them, inspired by the costumes of the
Soweto Gospel Choir and primitive mask art.
Ella is renowned for her fine, freeform machine embroidery, handmade
woollen felt items, silk paper embroidery, ecclesiastical commissions
and community textile art promotions.

Branch members worked together to construct the banners,
adding inspired finds from their own treasure chests.

Marian Greaves and her husband Len arranged the
technical installation features.
