Meetings:
We meet every Wednesday, from February to mid-December at:
Mt Eliza Community Centre
Canadian Bay Rd, Mt Eliza.
First Wednesday of the month: 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Second Wednesday of the month: 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
Third Wednesday of the month: 1.00pm to 4.00pm
Fourth Wednesday of the month: 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Fifth Wednesday of the month (if there is one!): 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Visitors are most welcome to attend.
As well:
- Guidance groups meet monthly in members' homes and other venues.
- Some groups focus on a particular technique (e.g. canvas work, crewel work, pulled thread, blackwork, creative machine embroidery). Others are general sit and sew. All are friendly, helpful and welcoming.
- There are two evening groups.
- The Morningon Peninsula is an extensive area and there is a guidance groups based in Seaford .
- We run classes and workshops, social events and excursions to exhibitions and elsewhere.
- We hold our biennial exhibition in odd-numbered years (2011, 2013, etc).
- Our AGM is held on the fourth Wednesday of February each year.
